privacy policy

margin. ("margin," "we," "us") is a growth agency based in the State of California, United States. this policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what you can do about it. we keep it short because we collect very little.

what we collect

when you submit our intake form we collect the information you give us: your brand URL, email address, monthly ad-spend range, niche, and any optional notes. if you arrive from a referral or campaign link, we also record that referral tag so we know where you came from.

we use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to count page views and aggregate events (for example, that a form was submitted). these analytics do not build advertising profiles of you and do not track you across other websites. if we have enabled Google Analytics, it may set cookies; you can block them in your browser without breaking the site.

how we use it

to reply to your inquiry, set up and manage your ad accounts and media buying, send an invoice, and improve the site. we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the processors that run our email, scheduling, analytics, and payment tools, strictly to provide the service.

text messages

if you give us your mobile number on one of our forms, you agree that margin media may call and text you at that number about your audit (confirmations, reminders, and a follow-up if you gave us your number but didn't finish booking) and about our services. some of these messages are sent with automated technology. your consent is not a condition of buying anything from us. message frequency varies. message and data rates may apply.

reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we won't text you again. reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below. we never sell, rent or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their marketing. mobile information is shared only with the service providers that deliver our messages.

payments

payments are handled by third-party processors (for example, Stripe). we never receive or store your full card number. those processors handle your payment data under their own terms and security standards.

data retention

we keep intake and project records for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. you can ask us to delete your information at any time.

your choices

you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you gave us, and you may opt out of any marketing email using the unsubscribe link or by replying. depending on where you live (for example in California or Texas), you may have additional rights; we honor verified requests regardless of residency. to make a request, contact the email listed on our site.

children

this site is for business owners and operators and is not directed to anyone under 18.

changes

we may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
